Waterside Place Condos Waterside Place is being constructed in Boston’s Seaport District, at the corner of East, D and Congress Street. The development will add to the city’s growing inventory of luxury condominiums. The residences at Waterside Place will be 19 stories high, with over 200 units. The phenomenal building will also include two large retail stores, a large food market, and a few shops and restaurants; all in addition to a luxury hotel with 300 rooms. There will also be parking (hidden from public view) and a visitor’s center for questions and exhibits. Names like Target, Nordstrom and Bloomingdales have all been rumored to be in the works; however Drew Co., the developer of the project, has not yet released what retailers they will be working with. This development will add to the many other projects already under construction that are revitalizing the Seaport District, turning it into one of the city’s most desirable place to live. The east side of the building, facing the World Trade Center, will feature a wood facade as a grand entrance.
